About us

The Lakes Hospitality Trade Show has been organised by the Lakes Hospitality Association for almost 50 years! Since its inception the show has been a critical date in a hospitality businesses calendar, bringing together businesses and suppliers from Cumbria and the North of England. Over the years the range of exhibitors and businesses attending the show from other industry sectors has increased; making it a show for all trade visitors to attend.

The show is run by a small team, who work tirelessly to make the show a success year on year, James Tasker, Sarah Tasker and Amy Thompson.

James Tasker one of the LHA Directors as well as owning the Lamplighter Dining Rooms in Windermere, knows first-hand how important it is to support and rally around the hospitality industry.

Sarah’s role as Event Manager brings together countless years in hospitality and eventing, both in the industry and other sectors. Her wealth of knowledge and expertise means the show is run with efficiency and executed effortlessly.

Show Organiser and Marketing Administrator, Amy, owns a successful copywriter business working with companies all over the North West with their marketing and PR as well as being a promoter of all things Cumbrian through her website, Eye on Cumbria. Amy has also run her own eventing business for many years and worked within the hospitality industry so between her and Sarah they make a great team producing and running the show.
