As part of our community-focused and not-for-profit ethos, the Lakes Hospitality Trade Show 2025 allocated £10,000 from the proceeds to support the marketing efforts of four standout events across Cumbria:

Ulverston International Music Festival, Ambleside Sports, The Derwentwater Head rowing event, and A new exhibition at The Dock Museum in Barrow. Here is what they had to say!

The Dave Museum!

“The exhibition opened the day before Dave Day, welcoming more than 1,200 people to the Museum. The grant money enabled us to work with Cumbria Tourism and promote the exhibition to the level it deserves. Working with them, we held a press preview evening, which resulted in coverage on BBC Breakfast, BBC Radio Cumbria, BBC North West Tonight, and many articles in the national press.”
