Andrew Coy brings with him a vast depth of knowledge and experience spanning in excess of 50 years working in the hospitality industry at the very highest of levels with his speciality being in event management. Andrew has previously worked at The Ritz, The Savoy and The Grosvenor House in London to name but a few. He started his illustrious career at The Old England Hotel and Spa in Bowness.
His absolute focus throughout his career has been on customer service delivery at the very highest of levels. Andrew went on from his career in London to work for Sodexo Prestige (their premium brand) traveling throughout the country covering prestigious events including the Olympic Games in London. He became Director of Hospitality at Woburn for the Duke of Bedford and went on to be General Manager of the Langham Hotel in Eastbourne and was instrumental in completely evolving the hotel to what it is today.
Most recently Andrew, as the owner of Simply Banqueting has undertaken consultancy contracts in private houses, villas, hotels and venues as well as managing VIP areas at major events, mentoring young managers, leading courses for those undertaking customer service training; and also trains and develops butlers in both private and corporate service globally.
Andrew is passionate about hospitality and customer service and continues to be motivated by the young team around him. His love for the industry continues to grow year after year and he now travels across the globe to pass on his expertise, knowledge and enthusiasm.
